Expert help without having to commit to a long-term design project
Design Consultation and Designer for a Day services are suitable for you when you need the expert help of an Interior Designer, but do not want to commit to a large-scale design project.
You want to implement the changes independently at your own pace, but you need help and encouragement to support your choices, as well as a professional to discuss your thoughts with.
A Design Consultation can include
- picking my brain on all things design
- help with arranging furniture or placing artwork to optimize your space and make your home a sanctuary
- help in choosing finishes, like paint or flooring
- help with creating a colour scheme for one or more rooms
After a consultation, you will have certainty and clarity on how to solve your interior design challenges, how to avoid pitfalls and how to do things sensibly. You have received concrete ideas and recommendations for implementing the interior design and/or renovation of your home, so that the end result would is harmonious and cohesive.
We meet either at your home, or at an interior design store in the Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Uusimaa region. A Design Consultation can be provided remotely as well.
Choose a Design Consultation when

You are updating the surfaces of your home and you need help to create a uniform color scheme.

Choose Designer for a Day when
You have a renovation coming up, and you should choose all interior materials. However, you don't know where to start, or how to combine everything to make it cohesive and harmonious.
You are planning a kitchen renovation and you need another pair of eyes to accompany you to kitchen and tile stores, to choose the materials and colors that suit your needs and style.
You are buying new furniture for your home and you need an expert to go shopping with you to make sure that you choose the right size, shape and furniture that fits your style and existing color scheme.
The children's room should be changed to suit a schoolchild and you would like help and advice with the color scheme, space plan and furniture.
You and your partner are about to move in together and would like help and advice to combine your different interior styles.
You have bought a new home, and you are thinking about how your old furniture fits into the new home and what new purchases you need to make.
Design Consultation
Spend an effective two (2) hours with an interior designer.
A Design Consultation can include, for example, creating a new color scheme for your home, rearranging furniture and artwork to make the space more functional, designing new curtains and interior textiles for your home, choosing furniture, interior materials or fabric in an interior design store, and brainstorming ideas.
We start with a free discovery call where we go over your wishes and challenges. If you want to proceed after this, we will arrange for a time to meet.
In order for us to get the most out of our time together, I will get to know your preferences in advance by means of an interior style analysis.
During the meeting, we focus on finding the right solutions for you. We discuss your wishes and brainstorm your ideas.
After our meeting, you will receive a personalized interior design idea book. The idea book contains a summary of the things we discussed during the meeting, as well as more ideas and recommendations for completing your interior.
During the meeting, you have clarified your thoughts, and you have found the red thread of your interior.
Price: €360 (incl. VAT 24%)
Designer for a Day
Spend a day with an Interior Designer (maximum six hour day).
The day can include, for example, showroom meetings, where I help you choose interior materials or furniture for your renovation.
We start with a free Discovery Call where we go over your wishes and challenges. If you want to proceed after this, we will agree on a time for the meeting, and I will prepare a schedule and program for the day.
In order for us to get the most out of our time together, I will get to know your preferences in advance by means of an interior style analysis.
During the meeting, we focus on finding the right solutions for you. We discuss your wishes and brainstorm your ideas.
After our meeting, you will receive a personalized Interior Design Idea Book. The idea book contains a summary of the things we discussed during the meeting, as well as more ideas and recommendations for implementing your interior/renovation.
At the end of the day, you have certainty and clarity about your choices, and, if necessary, also material orders made.
The day includes lunch for a maximum of two people.

Pay the invoice
When you want to proceed and we have agreed on a time for the consultation, I will send you an invoice.

After you have paid the invoice, you will receive a link to the Interior Style Quiz. With the help of the quiz, I get to know your preferences in more detail. This way we get the most out of our time together and I can offer you the best possible help.
The meeting
We meet at the agreed time, either at your home or at an interior design store. We go through proposed solutions to your interior design problem, and brainstorm ideas. After the meeting, you will receive a personalized Interior Design Idea Book. The Idea Book contains a summary of the things we discussed during the meeting, as well as more ideas and recommendations for implementing your interior/renovation.
Implement the plans at your own pace
During our meeting, you have gained certainty and clarity to implement your plans, as well as concrete recommendations and advice, which will help you achieve a harmonious interior that tells your story.
